Not sure who to root for to lose in this one. Like to catch up to Dallas, but a Calgary win puts them uncomfortably close.

Well time will tell, as the losses continue, and the playoffs seem more bleak by the day, the flames will soon go into a fire sale mode and start a massive rebuild starting at the 2013 draft. I think iginla would be a good fit in pittsburg. But in all honesty hes the only half descent player they could trade that a is worth their contract ( see jau bo) or could score more then 30 points

Kind of nice having a goalie that isn't a high wire act on every shot. Sure, Joey Mac is neither good or bad, but at least his technique is sound.
Stajan is continuing to impress, and Cammi was the funniest one on the bench after Begin's goal. Hopefully he doesn't get his teeth replaced

Its hard when your team wins, then looses then wins and you just know Feasters thinking "man we are just a piece or two away"

If we were as good as we were the first few games while loosing id say ok you may be onto something. But we actually need to trade away iggy and kipper before we are left with nothing. I am ok with retooling, get a top 5 this year trade iggy for a 1st and a decent prospect (if we can) kipper gone for a first (+ a prospect?)

Trade something like stemps or glenx and buttler and a 3rd for ROR

(I dont need anyone to bash this *looking at you edm fans* its not crazy unrealistic)

If we could so that 3 firsts maybe 2 prospects and ROR + ramo coming back and sven seems like a good working start to a rebuild.

The asking price for O'Reilly is reportedly a top 6 forward(or possible top 4 d-man) plus a top blue chip prospect. And keep in mind that the top 6 forward has to be on a good deal since money is the reason why O'Reilly is even available.

I thought Joey Mac played well. The 3 he let in were 2nd and 3rd chances, The D needs to clean that up. They season is still young.

I realize they arent really even interested in the weatern conference.
Glenx and stemps are both 2.5 mil CAP FRIENDLY contracts, thats why i mentioned both of them. In terms of a blie chip prospect, that why I threw in the third. Maybe even another b prospect.
